Projects

Key partnerships underscore the project's viability and potential for success. Companies such as Amhydro, AessesceGrows, Atlas Greenhouses, ArchSolar, and View have already expressed their commitment to the CEA project.

CATS is currently engaged in several key projects that demonstrate its commitment to this mission:

  • Al Huda Education CEA Rooftop Garden, Marabella: This project focuses on educating communities about the benefits of urban farming and promoting sustainable food production practices.

  • Harry's Herb Garden, Princes Town: This CEA farm is dedicated to the production of high-quality organic herbs and seedlings.

  • These initiatives highlight CATS's practical application of CEA technology and its focus on both community engagement and commercial agricultural production.

CATS benefits from the strong support and facilitation of InvesTT Trinidad and Tobago Limited (InvesTT). InvesTT is the investment promotion agency for Trinidad and Tobago, operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. InvesTT's core mandate is to attract, facilitate, and retain investments in the non-energy sectors of the economy, aligning with the government's strategic diversification efforts.

InvesTT's Investor Services Division plays a crucial role in supporting multi-national and indigenous companies operating in Trinidad and Tobago. The division provides a range of essential services, including:

  • Advisory services

  • Facilitating key linkages between investors and stakeholders

  • Resolving business eco-system challenges through strategic intervention

These services foster an environment that is conducive to reinvestment and sustainable growth. InvesTT's commitment to the continued support and facilitation of CATS underscores the importance of CATS's work in advancing the agricultural sector in Trinidad and Tobago.
